Baby Boot Camp

Boot Camp...should be called booty camp. Can I just send my "behind" and come pick it up when it is smaller? That seems to be the place where all my baby weight is going. Ugh!

This was at 32 weeks pregnant. Brandi and I have been enjoying (if you can really call in enjoyable) working out together. Baby Boot Camp is amazing! Don't get too worried, I work out hard, just like I always have, but I don't run, jump or twist. So baby is just fine and probably enjoys the movement.
Brandi is on her post baby wieght loss routine.

She kinda kicks butt!

We work our entire body using weights, bands, our own body weight, and the parks/beaches near by.

I attempt to do all the excersices. Usually I can handle them all, even pregnant, sometimes I move a little slower now that I am far along...

But every once in a while I get slowed down by my side kick...

Noah loves to copy all our moves. He is the one kid who would rather play with the weights and the moms than the park and other kids.

With a smile like that, I don't really mind if he hangs by my side forever!

So for now my big, pregnant, almost to the finish line, body will continue to enjoy Baby Boot Camp with my wonderful sissy and niece for as long as I make it. Then I'll be back 6 weeks postpartum!

This picture is kinda a dream come true...more than kind of, really truly!

Disneyland Visit

What could Noah be so excited about?

...something so exciting that it made him scream and shout...

...wave his hands high saying "Hurray!"

...made him stop eating his beloved peas!

...It gave Kelsey a huge smile...

Any guesses?

Mickey Mouse of course!

At 11am everyday many of the Disney characters walk out of the castle led by the Disneyland Band. They do a few dances for the anxiously awaiting audience and Mickey Mouse is the center of the attention. These three kiddos got front row stroller parking and LOVED IT!

With great big smiles we headed to the Jungle Cruise.
You can only immagine the fun animals, water features, sounds and sights this ride offers to a two year old.

Not to mention we ride a BOAT!

The entire trip was a great success, like always. Even with the two newest of Noah's friends in tow, we all enjoyed the time together!

Beach, Bonfire, Breeze, Brrrrrrrrr and Bonding

 The lovely Aunt Stephanie

Noah and I met some family and friends at the beach for a bonfire. It is amazing how cold and windy it can be the last week of July, thankfully we came prepared. Over the last week it has been great to see Noah bond with Aunt Stephanie. Noah seems to take a little longer to build a bond with females. At the beach, however, he relaxed and enjoyed some play with Aunt Stephanie and even asked her to play with him (a very big step for Noah!). She is such a patient and loving Aunt. She is very good with watching his reactions and his understanding of things. It shows how she really tries to make sure he is enjoying whatever they are doing. In this particular case, there was a ball involved...so he was having a blast!

The timing couldn't have been better because only a couple days later Aunt Stephanie watched Noah for the evening while Eric and I went out. From what I'm told the night was full of fun, play and NO CRYING or asking for Mommy/Daddy!

It's always a bonus to get some time with Pop-pop. Hopefully the next beach day will be warm!

Bebe

"Mama, Bebe. Mama, Bebe!"  Noah asks me over and over.

"Peeeees, Mama, Peeeees Bebe Mama" Noah pleads with me to give him his blanket

"I don't know where it is honey, why don't you go look for it" I respond

"Bebe, Where e e you?" He yells as he walks around the house with both arms up and head tilted sideways and an obvious expression of worry on his face. He is on an intense search for his Bebe.

"Noah, go look on Mommy and Daddy's bed" I say after some time

I guess he found his blanket

Big Bear Activities

I don't believe there is anything more enjoyable then watching my Husband play with our Son. No matter what activity they partake in Noah always smiles, always tries to tell me about it over and over again (even when I watched the entire time), and always wants to do it again!

Since I was almost 32 weeks pregnant, Eric kept Noah busy during our vacation so I could relax a little. Besides the many trips they took on the Stand Up Paddle board...

...they spent time on Auntie B's Kayak...

...and played in the spa.

JUMP!

And lots of HUGS!
There is nothing more sexy than an involved father, who really, truly, has fun with his family!
And the best part about my husband being so extremely hands on...

...mom finds time for play too!

Eric turned 30 while we were up in Big Bear, so I surprised him by having one of his best friends visit for a day. Nick, Jodie and Porter Fasullo came up and took advantage of the warm water and 86 degree weather! The Fasullo's are big fans of surf boards, paddle boards and everything water too.

The always so BEAUTIFUL Jodie spent some alone time fishing and soaking in the sun.

Porter practiced his surfing

and Nick hung out on the dock with the boys for a while.

We are so blessed to have them in our lives.
Nick and Jodie are so much fun and Porter is a very good kid who always sets a great example for Noah.
Friends like the Fasullo's are hard to come by!

Friends and Family, that's what we are trying to enjoy in our life.
Thankfully its easy since our family is pretty darn AMAZING!

Auntie B, Uncle B and Hunter in a stunning family moment. And then Auntie B took Hunter in the spa for Hunters very first time. Hunter loved the warm water and it was a sweet moment for the two of them.

My amazing mother, "Nana". She is very patient with Noah and is a big goof and completely silly when they play.

Noah and Nana spent a lot of time in the waster together.

Noah and Hunter got more then their share of cuddles and hugs from Nana.

Nana also kept track of busy Noah while on the boat so I could grab a RARE chance to tan my rather large pregnant back side.

Pilot, Nana and Pop-pop's Golden Retriever, is such a sweet and well trained dog. He cautiously watched as Pop-pop jumped off the boat and floated in the water. Pilot was making sure no rescues were needed.

My boy, nothing like this sweet one!

I love this photo of Nana. She is a very beautiful grandmother of two who still has loooong thin legs to show off, a perfect white smile, and is very caring and loving to us all.

Noah had a blast with the Doritos, something he hadn't discovered until this trip.

The Doritos and the EMPTY beer can. Apparently the can is one very exciting toy because he practically threw a full blown temper tantrum when he had to give it up.

Unfortunately Stephen and Stephanie (My brother and sister-in-law) were only able to come for a day. I guess it was the day I didn't take photos...I feel aweful about it, but They are just as important as every other member of this family. We love them SO SO SO!

BONUS: Doesn't every almost two year old LOVE sunglasses?

This one does!

Favorite Big Bear Moment

Actually, it was a series of moments involving Noah and Hunter.  They bonded.

Noah learned to play with Hunter.
He showed her how to do things like play and be happy in the pool.

They are learning about eachother.

Hunter Rose is a VERY happy baby. Noah told us all day long.

"Hu-der hAappy!"

Then he would repeat "hAappy?" like he was asking her

Noah wants to touch, kiss and hug Hunter all the time...we let him.

***THE BEST PART***
Noah has a special "baby voice" he uses to talk to Hunter. It completely melts my heart and I swear to you all that I will capture it on video. I could listen to his sweet, calm, but squeeky tone all day long.

I think it means he really, truly knows she is SPECIAL and LOVES her!
She is a little slice of Heaven, God took just a little more care when he made her.
